Key Benefits
- This is a new development, which is at the planning
stage at the moment. It will consist of the re-development of four,
currently derelict, houses and there will be 12 flats, ranging in size from
65m2 to over 100m2 (one to three bedrooms). Each flat will have its own
portion of garden, ranging in size from 150-400m2. There will be a shared
swimming pool and car-park. The development is about equi-distant from San
Gimignano and Volterra, about 50kms away from Sienna, and under an hour's
drive from Pisa airport. Because it is off-plan, payment will be in 3
stages, 30% this year, 30% after a year and the balance on completion. The
prices are affordable compared to the cost of buying and developing a
complete stand-alone villa (700k Euros for a wreck!)
Key Drawbacks
- The number of flats in each development may put some
people off. If they are expecting peace and tranquillity they may not
appreciate having that many neighbours in close proximity
